The GE Mark VI Series Internal Driver Board has a highly engineered construction. In most industries it is commonly referred to by its operational abbreviation "AEBM". Just like any other printed circuit board. This board is sensitive to static electricity. Therefore, proper protective equipment must be used during installation and daily use.
Equipment Tips and Specifications
The IS200AEBMG1A is a reliable product based on GE's proven Mark VI Series Autopilot components, but is classified as an advanced design. Therefore, some advanced components are required. The bottom plate of this board has a row of diodes. They all have a "D" (Diode) followed by the corresponding number, there are 42 diodes in total (e.g. D1, D2, D3). The diodes are used to control the direction of current flow on the board. Since the design requires 42 turns in addition to the basic diode, the GE AEB module includes a number of additional components, including but not limited to:
12 Phillips mounting screws
12 energy storage capacitors
46 resistors for current control
Six female ports labeled P1-P6
Optional descriptive label detailing component type (Type 6)
8 additional mounting screw holes for mounting.
